NIRI Announces Call for Presentations Process

Vienna, VA – The National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) today announced its Call for Presentations process for the 2011 NIRI Annual Conference, seminars and webinars.

NIRI Annual Conference Committee Co-Chair Sally Curley, senior vice president, Cardinal Health, Inc., and NIRI Board Member said, “We are pleased once again to reach out to the investor relations community for thought leaders interested in sharing their expertise at this critical time for public companies and the investor relations practice. The volume of governance requirements impacting investor interactions and evolving IR practices increases the need for peer-driven education and networking events.”

Fellow NIRI Annual Conference Committee Co-Chair Melissa Plaisance, senior vice president, finance and investor relations, Safeway Inc., said “This process offers everyone in the IR community the opportunity to demonstrate thought leadership by sharing insight on meeting tomorrow's challenges, and we look forward to reviewing session ideas that support our core principles of advancing the practice of investor relations and professional competency.”
